Yin Yoga 75/90 mins

60 min class practice is a great intro to yin yoga if you are new to it. Each pose is held for 3-5 min. 90 min class is recommended for more experienced students. Each pose is typically held for 5 mins or more. Different class sequences deeply stretch the spine, hips, and hamstrings.

Beginner Yoga 75/90 mins

Gentle Flow class includes slow warm-up stretches and a few beginner yoga poses. Essential components of a yoga practice such as breathing, meditation, intention, relaxation are introduced. Once the student feels more comfortable with it, the poses get incorporated into a sequence where the more challenging asanas continue to be added more.

Hatha/Vinyasa/Mandala 75/90 mins

Mandala Yoga Flow is a dynamic and fun practice, you can expect to move 360 degrees around your mat as we slowly flow through the grounding asanas to the rhythm of the breath. The sequences are designed to focus on specific areas of the body, which relate to their corresponding chakra (energy centre) and the element.

More about Hatha

Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama). The word "hatha" is derived from the Sanskrit words "ha" (sun) and "tha" (moon), symbolizing the balance of opposing forces. Hatha yoga aims to create harmony and balance between the body and mind through the practice of physical postures and breath control.

It is often used as a tool for meditation and has spiritual significance.

More about Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic and flowing style of yoga that emphasizes the coordination of breath and movement. The word "vinyasa" is derived from the Sanskrit words "vi," meaning variation, and "nyasa," meaning within prescribed parameters. In Vinyasa yoga, practitioners move through a series of poses, seamlessly linked together with synchronized breath, creating a continuous and rhythmic flow.

More about Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow-paced and contemplative style of yoga that involves holding passive postures for an extended period, typically ranging from 3 to 5 minutes or even longer. The primary focus of yin yoga is on targeting the deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than the muscles. This extended duration allows for a deep release and stretch in these tissues, promoting increased flexibility and joint mobility.
