Why book a Private yoga session?

Group sessions aren't always ideal for everyone, learning one-to-one is the way yoga was traditionally taught.
A private session can help you:
Learn the basics and fundamentals of yoga at your own pace
Create a healthy habit of regular independant practice
Develop deeper understanding of yoga asanas and breathing techniques
Learn about differents styles of yoga, and begin or deepen meditation practice
Get support for any medical condition or previous injury, or illness recovery
Reduce stress and anxiety, imroove mental health
Personalized & convenient sessions take place in the comfort of your home, or in the studio in London, with a weekly appointment at the time that suits you best.
Please contact me to arrange and discuss any special medical conditions.
Each session is 75 mins.

Please remember: yoga has the flexibility to adapt to you, and not the other way around.

Set up for a private yoga session
Step 1. Choose your yoga space.
Please find a spot at home that is unencumbered. You and I should be able to move freely, without touching objects around us, like the coffee table or couch. Yoga space should also be quiet, private, and comfortable.
Step 2. Committing to your yoga time.
There is another type of space you will need to get started: not only time in the calendar but "time-space" for yourself in your mind. Creating the time for yourself is just as important as finding the physical space. Cultivating support within your environment - from family, friends, and pets - is key. Please let people in your life know you need to have this space and time, that can't be disturbed, and give it to yourself. It is your time, you shall claim it.
Step 3. Yoga props. Please prepare a yoga mat and blanket, cushion, and water bottle, the rest will be provided.
Step 4. Yoga practice. The Yoga class will be adaptable and based on how you feel. Please be kind to yourself, you may not feel the same way every time. Every time will be different. One day you might wake up a bit tired, another day, you might feel like a Wonder Woman. Because of this, our yoga sessions won't be the same. Please find the Yoga Information paper attached to this email for more details.
There are some general guidelines to follow.
- Please consult with your doctor if it is safe for you to do a gentle yoga practice if you haven't already done so. The answer may not be related to what you are going through at the moment, but perhaps even to other medical conditions. Follow what is best and safest for you.
- We will have a couple of minutes to discuss how you generally feel and etc before our first introductory session.
